 Max. size:  16.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Asia: Philippines and Indonesia. Oceania: Papua New Guinea (Ref. 2847).
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-11; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 10-10
 Biology:  Found in fast-flowing streams with cobble and boulder bottoms (Ref. 2847). Occurs at least as far as 50-60 km upstream from the sea (Ref. 2847).
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
 Country info:  Known from Palawan (Ref. 280). Also Ref. 2847, 7050.
