 Environment:  demersal
 Distribution:  Asia: Philippines and Indonesia. Reported from New Guinea (Ref. 2847).
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 10-10
 Biology:  Lives in coastal streams with moderate to fast flow (Ref. 2847). Usually found in small. clear creeks, often in rainforest within about 50 km of the sea (Ref. 2847).
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
