 Max. size:  9.5 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal, amphidromous
 Distribution:  Asia and Oceania: Indonesia and the Philippines to the Society Islands.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 7-7; Dorsal soft rays (total): 10-10; Anal spines: 1-1; Anal soft rays: 10-11
 Biology:  Adults inhabit rivers (Ref. 6371). Found in a fast-flowing creek in hilly terrain about 15 km from the sea (Ref. 2847).
 IUCN Red List Status: Data deficient  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
