 Family:  Callionymidae (Dragonets)
 Max. size:  7 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  reef-associated; depth range - 0 m, non-migratory
 Distribution:  Indo-West Pacific: Philippines, eastern Indonesia and northwest Australia.
 Diagnosis:   
 Biology:  Found on sandy bottoms of shallow sheltered reefs (Ref. 9710). Secretive in rubble below living coral (Ref. 48636). Feeds on small benthic invertebrates (Ref. 9710). Forms small loose groups (Ref. 90102).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
 Country info:  Also Ref. 90102, 75992. An important aquarium specimen for export.
