 Family:  Synodontidae (Lizardfishes), subfamily: Synodontinae
 Max. size:  18.31 cm SL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 44 - 96 m
 Distribution:  Western Pacific: Indonesia (Ref. 5978) and the Chesterfield Islands (Ref. 11897).
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal soft rays (total): 13-13; Anal soft rays: 10-10. Dorsal half body pale brown, silver-gray ventrally. Irregularly shaped red blotches on ventral half of body. All fins pale, adipose fin grayish (Ref. 37501).
 Biology: 
 IUCN Red List Status:   (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
 Country info:  Collected during the Hearst Expedition 2011 done off Batangas and Mindoro, off SW Luzon. Identification to be confirmed (Ref. 95664).
