 Family:  Gobiidae (Gobies), subfamily: Gobiinae
 Max. size:  2.1 cm TL (male/unsexed)
 Environment:  demersal; depth range 10 - 40 m
 Distribution:  Western Central Pacific: Philippines.
 Diagnosis:  Dorsal spines (total): 6-6; Dorsal soft rays (total): 11-12; Anal soft rays: 10-12. Characterized by semi-translucent reddish to yellowish body color with internal red or yellow stripe above verrtebral column; all pelvic fin rays unbranched; fifth pelvic ray 10% length of fourth ray; head and body without scales; very elongate body, depth about 5.9-6.9 in SL (Ref. 90102).
 Biology:  Inhabits reef crevices, frequently on drop-offs, in 10-40 m (Ref. 90102).
 IUCN Red List Status: Not Evaluated  (Ref. 96402)
 Threat to humans:  harmless
 Country info:  Type locality: off mouth of Bais Bay, Negros (Ref. 40966).
