Definition of Term

bacteria
(english) A group of prokaryotic, microscopic organisms; maybe unicellular or multicellular; sometime aggregated into filaments. Bacteria have no chlorophyll; they multiply by division or other asexual methods. (See also: microorganisms, nucleus, bacilliform)
