bay coastline
(english) Major indentation of shore area on otherwise undifferentiated coastline with at least partially protected conditions; the opening is generally less wide than the length; either marine (free of water discharge and major groundwater discharge) or estuarine (having permanent or significant seasonal fresh surface water or groundwater inflow).
