Biology     Glossary (e.g. epibenthic)

Tolerant of freshwater within a temperature range of 19-27°C (Ref. 4180, 79840). In summer, feeds mainly in early evening and late morning while in winter, it feeds both day and night on crustaceans as well as insects (aquatic and terrestrial) and fish (Ref. 7248). Estimates of some properties based on models

Phylogenetic diversity index (Ref. 82805):  PD50 = 0.5000   [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.01549 (0.00756 - 0.03174), b=3.01 (2.82 - 3.20), in cm Total Length, based on LWR estimates for this species & (Sub)family-body (Ref. 93245).
Trophic Level (Ref. 69278):  3.4   ±0.59 se; Based on food items.
Resilience (Ref. 69278):  High, minimum population doubling time less than 15 months (Assuming Fec > 10,000).
Vulnerability (Ref. 59153):  Low vulnerability (12 of 100) .
