minimum biological acceptable level
(english) 1) A value of spawning stock biomass below which the probability of reduced recruitment increases as spawning stock size decreases, 2) legislated size below which individuals of some fish species, if caught, are not to be retained. (See also: spawning stock biomass, spawning stock)
