post-copulation
(english) In elasmobranchs, the male removes the clasper from the cloaca, but may briefly maintain his oral hold of the female pectoral (Ref. 35892). Carrier et al (1994) (Ref. 51126) noted that the pair sometimes remains together quiescently, more typically, one or both rapidly depart in different directions.
