Western Atlantic: Canada (Ref. 5951) North Carolina, the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean Sea to Uruguay (Ref. 47377) and Brazil (ISH specimens). Western Pacific: Japan and near Hainan, China (Ref. 9626).
