Dorsal spines (total): 1; Dorsal soft rays (total): 6; Anal soft rays: 16 - 18. Body extremely elongate, predorsal distance 26-28% of SL; and dorsal spine thin, weakly ossified and prolonged well beyond tip of first ray as long flexible filament (Ref. 56896).
