Marine; demersal; depth range 20 - 40 m (Ref. 3589). Tropical, preferred ?; 4°S - 14°S
Eastern Atlantic: known from the type which was taken at the mouth of the Congo river, Congo Dem. Rep. and several specimens reported from 9°20'S, 1°04'E and 8°25'S, 13°15'E (off Angola).
