soft rays: 65 - 72. Jaws with outer row of numerous minute teeth and closely adjoining inner rows of sparse fang-shaped teeth. Upper jaw with additional inner band of minute teeth, separated from the series of fang-shaped teeth by 3 spaces. Trunk with 120-130 transverse rows of scales. Lower side of head and the lower surface of lower jaw, without scales; second dorsal fin with 57-62 rays. Gill rakers thin, slightly flattened. Abdominal cavity extends to above the base of 13th-14th rays of anal fin. Pyloric caeca 8-11. Paired fins more or less whitish (Ref. 45011).

50 = 0.5000 [Uniqueness, from 0.5 = low to 2.0 = high].
Bayesian length-weight: a=0.00363 (0.00182 - 0.00724), b=3.13 (2.95 - 3.31), in cm Total Length, based on LWR estimates for this (Sub)family-body shape (Ref.

Trophic Level (Ref.
69278): 3.4 ±0.4 se; Based on size and trophs of closest relatives
Resilience (Ref.
69278): Medium, minimum population doubling time 1.4 - 4.4 years (Assuming tmax>3).
Vulnerability (Ref.
