Africa: known only from the Lulua (Kasai drainage, middle Congo River basin) in Democratic Republic of the Congo (Ref. 11970, 51287, 78218). Specimen reported from Lufume (Luele tributary, Kasai drainage) in Angola (Ref. 11970) not conspecific (Ref. 51287, 78218).
