| Remarks | Because klsbuul spawn in relatively deep water (about 23 m), many local fishers are unfamiliar with its spawning sites. Temol, a fisher in Ngiwal who can dive deep says spawning aggregations form in mangroves. They migrate through a channel in the fringing reef off Ngiwal to a sandy area on the outer reef slope in the channel mouth to spawn. Spent adults return to shallow water. |
