Remarks 'emperor', from Latin 'emperare', i.e., command, from 'parare', i.e., to make preparations for (p. 200, Ref. 11979); 'black', from Old English 'blæc', of obscure origins but probably related to Latin 'flagrare' and Greek 'phlégein', i.e., burn, from Indo-European 'phleg-, bhleg-' (p. 65 in Ref. 11979). Name not listed in ASFIS version 2006 (Ref. 56807). Also Ref. 10161.
