Remarks Their fused teeth joined at the front in a groove forming a pair of beak-like tooth plates and their flapping of their pectoral fins during swimming gave them their name parrotfishes (Ref. 5288). Also Ref. 30573, 56807, 83882, 90062, 93840, 95632.
